SESAC Showcase

I have been asked by my new friend over at SESAC, Linda Lorence, to perform in the upcoming showcase, “Writers on the Storm.” Quite an honor indeed. I’ll be performing with the new band, featuring Daniel Correa on percussion, Tom Swafford on fiddle, and Jay Goodman on upright bass.

Joey Reynolds Show

I’ll be doing some songs live on The Joey Reynolds Show on Monday night 8/4/08 at midnight. Joey is a great guy, and has been doing his show for YEARS. He has also been a big supporter of my music.

His show is on WOR 710 AM, and is broadcast nationally.

He even asked me to write a theme song for him, which he plays regularly.

LIVE SONGS section added to “FREEBIES”

i added a new section my my “FREEBIES” section. i’ll be including live versions of some songs – at gigs, rehearsals, on the radio, etc.

i put a few songs on there:

-”all or nothing” from the ill-fated album, “lullaby for a junkie.” recorded in daniel correa’s apartment. i’m trying a bit of scatting, some faux trumpet, etc. a little rough…
-”brooklyn rain” from my first real album, “i wish my name were jack.” recorded live at the cutting room in nyc. a nice piano version.
-”i’m sorry, jeannie” recorded live on the joey reynolds show a couple of years ago.
